As always, our flavored powdered sugars can be used as a 1:1 replacement in any recipe that calls for powdered sugar.

Note: While we use all-natural ingredients, including cocoa, the (dutch) process to achieve the dark color involves steps that are not entirely natural. This unique process provides a very dark brown/black hue, reducing or eliminating the need for additional artificial color. To achieve a deep black you may need to add a couple drops of black food coloring. You can use an immersion blender also to deepen the color.
